Here's what passes for waggish humour in the floundering Liberal Party these days--the opportunity to vote for your favourite "highlarious" Copenhagen-related Harper-bashing poster. (My vote went to the one that placed him in the midst of a Marxist par-tay--because it made absolutely no sense whatsoever).
One of the photos in contention didn't make the final cut--the one showing Harper's face photoshopped onto that famous pic of Lee Harvey Oswald getting shot by Jack Ruby. (M'kay.) It was deemed too "offensive".
As a senior Liberal party official explained to the Ceeb, the photo contest was a "humorous way of pointing out Harper's reluctance to attend the climate change meeting in Copenhagen."
Yeah, assassination--what a hoot!
