According to Ha'aretz, Senator John Kerry (remember him?) says, "Syria is committed to achieving peace in the Middle East and is essential to the process."
You got that right, John, but you should know it's "peace" in the Islamic sense--the "peace" that will come to pass once Islam's enemies have been completely subdued. So nuts to that.
