Muslim Brotherhood in the Food Court

I had a tasty falafal today at Villa Madina, a fast food outlet at my local mall. It was only after I had ordered and paid the I noticed that not only is VM "halal," like some Campbell's soups it has been deemed "halal" by  ISNA Canada. (The chain boasts about its relationship with ISNA, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoothere.)

Needless to say the food didn't taste nearly as good as it would have had I not noticed the ISNA insignia; given the close association between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Nazis, a swastika might be an even more appropriate ISNA symbol than its minaret logo.

Update: Villa Medina is part of the MTY Group. Here's the company's contact info.
