"Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I’m still a believer in the ultimate success of this unique project"

The Toronto Star's Martin Knelman foresees great things for the 'Peg's Victimhood Shrine/Guggenheim Wannabe (now experiencing stratospheric cost overruns for which, in a laudable display of sanity, the Harper government refuses to pony up one shekel more). Call me a clear-eyed realist, but I think Kathy Shaidle has it right re Izzy's dizzy and disastrous Mausoleum dream:
Whenever these good-for-you “legacy” projects are waved in my face, I feel as if I’m being forced to give head to the Hindenburg.
A recipe--oh, the humanity!--for another massive explosion, no?
